Sestriere is a high altitude resort in the Piedmont region of Italy. The resort was the base for the 2006 Winter Olympics and is part of a vast ski are known as Via Lattea or Milky Way which has over 300km of ski slopes and connects to France. The town has all the facilities for a top calss ski resort and great for all abilities. There is a fantastic ski school.
