Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and is placed in a circle dominated by 6 glaciers. It is top of the three valleys and is the largest ski area in the world. The resort is car free and is ski-in, ski-out with exceptional snow quality, breathtaking scenery and 8 skiable peaks.

At the entrance of the resort, close to shops with an attractive wooden facade and large balconies, the Residence Altineige is at the foot of the slopes, next to the ski lifts with a bridge to the shopping mall (open: 8am to 7pm) and sports & leisure centre.
