Vars & Risoul

Were they nearer Geneva, Risoul and its linked neighbour Vars would be better known internationally; as it is, they retain a very French atmosphere. Risoul is a quiet, purpose-built apartment-based resort, popular with families and in a pleasantly woody setting.
